What is a therapy intensive vs regular therapy?
Therapy intensive concentrates on a particular issue in an enhanced shorter timeframe. It is designed to be more immersive and focused than traditional weekly/biweekly sessions.
What are the benefits of longer sessions?
By being more intentional during the longer session time, we can dive in more deeply and we get to the “heart of the matter” more quickly. No small-talk needed.
Does my insurance cover therapy intensives or coaching services?
Therapy intensives such as EMDR and DBT which involve extended, prolonged are not covered by insurance, as they are considered a ‘prolonged service’ rather than a standard session. Coaching services are not considered medically necessary treatment.
What are your fees?
Therapy intensives can range from $240 for 1 hour to $1500 for a 2-day weekend intensive therapy session. Coaching services are also available that range from $400 to $700 for different coaching needs.
Are sessions done in-person?

Therapy intensives are done in-person in Seattle, WA. There is option to do coaching services online if requested.

Do I have to be in WA to receive services?
Yes, and no. If you are utilizing your insurance, then individual or couples counseling will require you are in the state of WA for either telehealth or in-person sessions. If you are wanting therapy intensives or coaching services and you reside outside the state of WA and no insurance is billed for services, then we can meet via Zoom or you can meet me in-person in Seattle.
